Toolkit: Coaching Through a Gender Lens

Toolkit: Coaching through a gender lens

The “Coaching Through a Gender Lens Toolkit” is a practical resource designed for coaches, educators, and sports professionals aiming to promote gender equality in sports. Developed as part of a European collaborative initiative involving Austria, Spain, Portugal, Türkiye, and the Czech Republic, the toolkit addresses significant disparities in female sports participation and leadership.

This toolkit helps users understand and dismantle gender-based barriers that discourage women and girls from engaging fully in sports. It offers practical steps for creating inclusive and empowering environments, such as fostering emotional and physical safety, implementing gender-inclusive coaching strategies, and establishing mentorship programs. Additionally, it provides guidelines for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of gender equality measures.

By encouraging continuous reflection, community involvement, and supportive leadership roles for women, the toolkit serves as a foundational guide to transform sports environments into spaces of equal opportunity, mutual respect, and personal growth for everyone involved.

Handbook with Curriculum: From Stressed out to Stress Less

Handbook with Curriculum: From Stressed out to Stress Less

Handbook with Curriculum: from stressed out to stressless

This manual contains all the topics necessary for running a training program according to our curriculum. The program follows the logic and principles of non-formal education, and after the introductory part, which is indispensable when it comes to psychological experiential workshops, comes the conceptual parts about stress and stress management. After the educational part, the participants practically act and design future workshops to increase the resilience of the young people they work with.

As a team of psychologists who work with young people and youth work trainers for whom mental health is an integral part of the agenda of any work with young people, we designed this learning program about and for stress management. Through the methodology of non-formal education in youth work, psychologically educational topics related to stress can bebrought closer to young people in a comprehensive way, because such programs cover thephysical, emotional, social and cognitive aspects of dealing with stress problems.

Therefore, it is very important to convey to young people the importance and significance of using the acquired skills through workshops in order to reduce the possibility of the appearance of symptoms and consequences of stress.

The project “Digital transformation of inclusive Youth Work” aims to empower NGOs for the digital transformation of inclusive youth work. It focuses on creating innovative digital solutions that are effective at various levels, from local to international. The initiative seeks to enhance the quality of youth work by integrating innovative digital learning methods, specifically targeting the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities
